Terms for site owners

These are the terms for renting a website from Wizbang Sites. The people who visit and join your site follow the Terms and Privacy Policy on your site's Legal page.

Your subscription

• You pay monthly, starting the day you sign up. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card number.
• You can change your card, see invoices, or cancel any time from your site's dashboard (Billing).
• If you cancel, your site stays open until the end of the month you paid for.
• If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a while and your site stays open. If it still can't be paid, your site is paused (visitors can't see it) until payment is made.

Exclusive counties

• Some kinds of site are one per county. If you hold a county, nobody else can start that kind of site there while your site is active.
• If your site is paused or canceled, we hold your county for 30 days. After that, it opens up for someone else.
• Exclusive means only one on Wizbang Sites. It doesn't stop anyone from having a website somewhere else.

Your content and your members

• What you and your members post belongs to you and them. You're responsible for running your site and following your site's house rules.
• Don't use your site for anything illegal, for spam, or to harass people. We can pause a site that does.
• You can download your data any time. If you cancel, we keep your site's data for at least 30 days in case you come back.

Changes

If we change prices or these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days ahead. Questions: reply to any email from us.
